How does KidSpotter work

 Registration
  • Family enters venue
  • Parent rents device
  • Parent can choose to register via SMS or fill out a more detailed form
  • Example of a SMS activation below
If they receive tag no. 7, they would do the following

What happens when a parent become separated from their child?
Should a parent become separated from their child, the parent will send an SMS as shown below
Locating Child
The parent can then make their way to the required area and pick up the child. If the child has moved the unique in-motion tracking software will track the position of the child and send updates to the parent until the child has been found. Venue security will also be notified and they can track the tag and inform the closest member of the security team to go to the same location and assist the parent therefore allowing the venue to be proactive and giving the parents greater assurances.
General Zones
Zones can vary in size from 20m x 20m down to a minimum zone size of 3m x 3m, depending on the density of the area.
Alert Zones
Alert Zones are special zones within the venue, which are potentially more dangerous than the general visitor areas. Entry/Exit Points, Service stairways and staff entrances are typical areas.
The zones can be defined based on distance from any of these particular areas.

Green Zone- 10m from exit -Send Parent SMS of the location

Amber Zone -5m from exit- Send parent and security SMS of the child location

Red Zone -1m from exit- Send parent and security SMS and activate alarms and lights on child’s tag. (This can also be incorporated into the CCTV system in some cases).
