As part of delivering true Location Based Services , Kidpotter is agnostic toward all technologies.
We use the most suitable technology available to provide our solution to venues. Kidspotter will continue to strive towards excellence in technology and actively seeks out new and converging technologies.
Location Software
The monitoring software is the user interface between the tags and the system. The system is fully automated and requires no operation - however there is an interface available if necessary. The system resides on a server in the communications room of each site.
Tags
The tags provide users with the most accurate method for locating their children in either an indoor or outdoor environment.The open source KidSpotter software can function with most leading tag maufacturers and is constantly being improved to encompass emerging stable technologies.
Mobile Phone Technology
The final element in the location solution is the parents/guardians mobile phone. At this stage the mobile phone will be used solely as a location device to send and receive SMS/MMS messages to and from the server, however as mobile technology evolves the mobile phone can be used as a payment mechanism in the coming years. |
